Source of Funds

The game

The Source of Funds card game presents players with a series of realistic workplace scenarios to develop effective decision-making on the evaluation of source of funds and how to document the reasoning. Built together with Tom Lyes, a leading source of funds specialist.

Playing in pairs, players look at a scenario with one player documenting the source of funds decision while the other player evaluates it. They then switch places. As the scenarios build, the players rapidly build their ability to record their source of funds evaluations with the rapid feedback from a peer. It is this feedback that drives the learning - this feedback is either missing or divorced from the initial decision in the office. This course uses immediate feedback to drive learning.

The game is played with a facilitator guiding discussions and highlighting key learning points. Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes, making it perfect for training workshops or team meetings.
